As many of you know, in June of 2009 my Andrei and myself had the privilege of being able to visit Haiti.
We
went with the organization Practical Compassion and saw, felt and
experienced so much. We we were able to see the amazing work that
Practical Compassion has done to continually provide and support
education, schools, orphanages, medical care and wells. They have built
amazing relationships with some amazing people.
We went with the president of this organization (who just happens to be my uncle) Fred Windholz as well as my cousin |

Candy! Candy!
Who doesn't like a sweet treat?
This wonderfully decadent pair of earrings was a custom design for my wonderful cousin Rachel!
She was chatting with me one day about how I name my jewelry different characteristic titles and said how fun it would be to create a pair of earrings around the name "candy." She talked about having many different brilliant colors all mixed together like a collection of hard candies. I thought the idea was brilliant!
As I was kicking this idea around, her birthday began to quickly approach. |

We are drawn to precious stones because of their timeless
resilience, shine, luster and of course, their color (basically, they’re
shiny!) Amethyst, without a doubt, has been eminent in all those categories,
making it one of the most beloved and sought after stones for centuries.
Amethyst comes in a vast variety of colors ranging from
clear to midnight deep. The value of the stone is dependent upon the depth,
richness and purity of the color.
Amethyst is found in many parts of the world including
Brazil, Austria, India, Uruguay, Africa and the United States. |

Hello ladies and gentlemen!
I just felt rather inclined to write a little bit about one of my earring designs called "Opposites Attract." They are very unique, original and one of my most highly sought after designs!
As I'm sure you’ve discovered by now, I'm always striving to create pieces that you just don't see everywhere. I'm really proud of Opposites Attract; this design just came to me in a random flash of inspiration. Usually, I will spend hours working and working to create a new design, but on occasion, new ideas unexpectedly come out of nowhere. |

Hello again!
I would like to thank my good friend Megan Waugh for hosting a J.Beth Jewelry Party with me over Columbus Day weekend!
Megan put together a great event with lots of great food ( I meanreallygood food, that quiche was outta this world!), sangria, cute babies and music! Yes it was country music but I'll forgive her for that - love you Megan!!
I had a great time getting to know everyone and enjoying a fun afternoon with the girls.
For every guest Megan gained credit towards free jewelry. This is one of the pieces she earned - |
